Abstract

myGiulia.de is an independent online media platform based in Vienna that aims to give women a larger presence in the media. Within the Editorial Statutes, it positions itself as a slow media company, countering clickbait and digital overload. The platform wants to initiate interesting conversations and be relevant to its readers, maintaining a focus on independence, intelligence, emotion, and positivity. Furthermore, the statutes refer to topics such as the rejection of extremism and discrimination, as well as the separation of advertising from journalism. The medium is also committed to the Code of Honor of the Austrian Press Council.
