Abstract

The Guidelines for Enhanced Government Communication are produced by the Prime Minister’s Office for all government authorities to prepare for incidents and emergency situations. An incident refers to threats affecting society’s operations and duties, such as terrorism. Emergency situations are enacted by decree and refer to particularly severe threats to the population, major disasters, or wartime situations. The Guidelines cover principles of communication, organization and responsibilities, and provide specific instructions for preparing against information influence activities.
