The Code of Conduct contains the basic principles for public service media services and a clarification of the public service objectives set out in the Act on Media Services and on the Mass Media. The basic purpose of the Code is to provide guidance to the public service media provider on the proper functioning of the public service media within the framework of the Act. The Media Service Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA) cooperates closely with the public service media provider in order to ensure proper operation and to achieve the objectives set out in the Act and this Code.
