Abstract

The mission of Direkt36, one of the biggest investigative online news portals in Hungary, is to expose abuses of power, corruption, negligence, and waste or misuse of other public goods by conducting investigative reporting. In its mission statement, Direkt36 determines rules and regulations regarding its organizational structure and independence, receiving and using donations, transparency, and professional cooperation in its guiding principles document which also determines the most important Principles of journalism ethics.
