Abstract

The Code of Ethics by the Lithuanian Engineering Industry Association (LINPRA) sets ethical standards for members within the engineering sector, advocating for integrity, transparency, and sustainability in business practices. The Code underscores the importance of equal interest representation, adherence to laws, anti-corruption efforts, ethical competition, human rights, environmental care, and maintaining confidentiality. This commitment supports the development of a sustainable economy and enhances the industry’s reputation. Applicable to all LINPRA members, including businesses and educational institutions, adherence to this Code confirms their dedication to ethical conduct, aiming for long-term industry improvement. Publicly available, the Code is amendable by LINPRA’s general meeting, guiding members towards principled professional behaviour.
