Abstract

The Code of Ethics, established by the Lithuanian Disability Organizations Forum, aims to unite, strengthen, and advocate for disability organizations. This Code outlines ethical standards for the Forum’s representatives, members, and their representatives, emphasizing adherence to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, promoting equality, non-discrimination, and human rights. It regulates behaviour in achieving the Forum’s goals, including transparent and equal representation, ethical competition, and responsible management of human resources. The Code applies to everyone associated with the Forum, ensuring activities are conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with legal standards, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for people with disabilities.
