Abstract

The European Commission has proposed a procedural set of European Digital Rights and Principles that reflect EU values and promote a people-centred vision for digital transformation. The principles are organized around six themes: people and their rights in the digital age, solidarity and inclusion, freedom of choice, participation, security, and sustainability in the bargain. They aim to empower individuals to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the digital age while ensuring a sustainable and people-centred approach to digital transformation.
