DIACOMET was represented at the ECREA “Communication Law and Policy” Workshop, held in Brussels, Belgium, on 17–19 September 2025.

The event was organized by the Department of Communication Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and thematically focused on “Media Freedom and Pluralism in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Platforms: A New Era for Media Policy/Regulation?”.

Our project was represented by prof. dr. Marko Milosavljević from our Slovene partner University of Ljubljana, who included aspects of our ongoing research within this project in his presentation, titled “The Unmentioned Gap: Absence of State Media Regulation in the EMFA as a Potential Threat to Media Freedom”.
