The Netiquette of the Niederösterreichische Nachrichten (Austrian newspaper) sets out voluntary guidelines to ensure fair and respectful discussion beneath its articles. Users are expected to maintain a polite tone, argue factually and avoid any form of discrimination, as well as threats, incitement to violence or other unlawful content. Commercial advertising, spam, political campaigning, foreign-language posts and external links are not permitted. Contributions that violate these principles may be removed without further explanation.
