Abstract

The European Forum Alpbach (EFA) is a forum that brings together individuals from various fields to promote ideas for a strong and democratic Europe, aiming to influence key actors across Europe and facilitate learning and decision-making. The EFA promotes values such as inclusion, equality, intercultural understanding, fairness, integrity, and respect. They also focus on strengthening the diversity of the European Union and integrating sustainable development strategies. The Code of Conduct serves as a guide for the behaviour of EFA institutions and their representatives. A umbudsperson is responsible for monitoring compliance with the code. The Code is not a substitute for legal obligations, and all parties are expected to adhere to applicable laws and regulations in Austria and partner countries. Moreover, the EFA has established netiquette and online communication guidelines, asking users to respect the forum’s values and rules of conduct when engaging with other participants.
