Abstract

The Code of Ethics for Deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, adopted by the Council of the President of the National Assembly, applies to all deputies and sets out ethical principles, such as reputation and integrity; loyalty; justice and fairness; responsibility; dignity and respect. According to the Code, deputies will foster democratic dialogue and will not be offensive. Unethical conduct will be discussed by the Council of the President of the National Assembly at closed meetings, which will, if the code has been violated, impose a reprimand with or without a public announcement.
