Abstract

Pesti Hírlap declares that the most important function of the media is to inform, to present information necessary for voter, consumer, parental and other decisions, to promote freedom of expression and the flow of diverse opinions, to entertain, and through all these means to enhance society’s self-awareness. By adhering to the Code of Ethics of the Editor-in-Chiefs’ Forum (see HU6), Pesti Hírlap declares that the editorial office considers its duty to report accurately, fairly and truthfully to its best professional beliefs.
