Abstract

The Editorial Statute of Kurier outlines the rights and responsibilities of the editorial employees and promotes the newspaper’s position in both journalistic and economic competition. The daily newspaper is independent and aims to maintain freedom from any political party or interest group influences. The Statute points out that Kurier is dedicated to values such as integrity, democracy and tolerance. Meanwhile, the journalistic Code of Honor of the Austrian Press Council should be adhered to.
