Abstract

With the “Declaration of intent for responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in media,” Media Perspectives wants to advocate for responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in the media industry. Media Perspectives wants to contribute to the future of the media sector and take the lead in its transformation by creating collaborations between media organizations, knowledge institutions and governments. The declaration builds on the Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI, established by the European Commission, and outlines essential guidelines, foundations and four ethical principles in relation to the use of AI in the media industry.
