Abstract

Mediahuis is a media company operating in several European countries, one of them being the Netherlands, and holds ownership of some of the largest (regional) newspapers. The Mediahuis AI Guidelines focus on the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence. According to Mediahuis, AI should enhance the quality of journalism for their audience and support their work by handling time-consuming tasks. The Guidelines emphasize the importance of transparency and privacy. It is a living document that can be updated when developments call for doing so.
