Abstract

The Austrian section of the international non-profit organisation Caritas encourages an open discussion on their social media channels, valuing both supporters and critics. The legally non-binding Netiquette includes guidelines like staying respectful, following the law and verifying information before sharing. The Netiquette emphasizes the importance of checking sources, staying on topic, respecting privacy and copyright, avoiding advertising, and encouraging interaction. Users who violate these guidelines may be excluded.
