Greenpeace’s Social Media Guidelines are a non-mandatory set of 10 principles to enable a constructive exchange via their social media channels. Fair interaction, netiquette and respectful dialogue are required by one of the largest non-profit organisations in Austria. On the other hand, violation of copyright and illegal and unethical contributions, such as extreme right-winged, racist or discriminatory comments, are forbidden. The users should act according to the value of non-violence and keep their own privacy protection in mind. Violations may result in exclusion.
