Abstract

The non-binding “Netiquette Rules” for the österreich.at (OE24) encourages users to be respectful and polite in their posts and contributions. Sarcasm and irony should be used cautiously to avoid misunderstandings. The discussion culture in the community values diversity of opinion and freedom of expression, even if it means encountering views contrary to your own. The rules include for example obeying Austrian laws, as well as prohibiting personal attacks, hate speech, and the dissemination of pornographic or extremist content. Violations of these rules will result in posts being deleted and users being excluded from the community.
