DIACOMET representatives will attend the “Beyond the Audience: Rethinking Participation and Power in the Age of Data Capitalism” conference, organised by the MeDeMAP project consortium. The conference will take place on 15–16 January 2026 at IULM University in Rome, Italy.

Our partners will present the paper based on DIACOMET research, titled “Attention Negotiation and Ethical Labour in Platform Capitalism”.

MeDeMAP is a Horizon Europe project, focusing on similar issues as DIACOMET. The aim of the project is to “set out future-proof pathways to strengthen democracy through improving accountability, transparency, and effectiveness of media production, and expanding active and inclusive citizenship,” as written on their website.
