Representatives of DIACOMET participated at the 10th European Communication Conference ECREA 2024, which took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the end of September 2024. The focus of the conference was Communication & social (dis)order and DIACOMET was presented on several conference sessions.
Representatives of the Austrian Academy of Sciences Krisztina Rozgonyi and Marie Rathmann presented key results from WP2 on Wednesday, 25th of September, at 11:45 in contribution titled “Competing, conquering or correlating? The interplay of concepts on diversity in European legal frameworks, policies and codes of ethical conduct”. Their presentation was part of session on “Approaches to media regulation”.
That same day at 14:30, representative of University of Ljubljana Romana Biljak Gerjevič took part in session titled “Local media and news deserts: Evidences from a EU wide research” and presented contribution on “Local media policy, captures or captured within a network of wider interests and calculations – the Slovenian policy experience”.
On Thursday, 26th of September, at 14:30 representative of University of Ljubljana Marko Milosavljević took part in session titled “Navigating stormy waters: A comparative analysis of public service media” and presented “”Cheap Worn-out Prostitutes” to a “Greek Scenario””. They both discussed DIACOMET in respective aspects as well.
