DIACOMET representative from the Hungarian Europe Society Erik Uszkiewicz participated in the Mapping Media for Future Democracies (MeDeMAP) consortium meeting, which took place in Brussels, Belgium, on January 13th 2026.

The morning event, held at the European Parliament, focused primarily on the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA), while the roundtable discussions at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in the afternoon addressed current issues of journalism, media pluralism, and the state of democracy in Europe.
