DIACOMET representatives from the Institute for Comparative Media and Communication Studies (CMC) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and the University of Klagenfurt (AAU) participated at the Austrian UNESCO Commission’s event “TikTok, AI and Democracy: Your Decisions on the Internet”.

Within this event our researchers Christina Krakovsky, Marina Lindmeyr, Marie Rathmann and trainee Katharina Buschkotte led the workshop “Digital Reality Check – Deine Entscheidungen im Netz”, where they examined real-life dilemmas around AI-generated content, online conflict, fake news and hate speech.
