The Hungarian Europe Society is inviting you to attend a workshop on scientific disinformation and populism titled Charlatans or explorers?

The workshop is organised under the auspices of DIACOMET in cooperation with the SCIENCE+ regional project.

The in-person and on-line workshop will take place on Thursday, April 25th 2024, from 18.00 until 20.30 in the premises of the Hungarian Europe Society (H-1052 Budapest, Gerlóczy utca 11).

18.30 – 18.40: Erik Uszkiewicz (Vice-Chairperson, Hungarian Europe Society; Researcher, DIACOMET): Welcome and summary on the DIACOMET Budapest meeting

18.40 – 19.20: Nikoletta Nagy (Journalist, telex.hu), Zsolt Hanula (Editor, telex.hu) and Péter Lugosi (Journalist, 24.hu), all of them are members of the SCIENCE+ Network: War and scientific disinformation trends – What tools do journalists have?

19.20 – 20.30: Q&A, debate
