Abstract

The DELFI Code of Ethics is applicable to journalists working at the DELFI ​news portal. ​ The Code outlines the main provisions, independence and transparency of journalists, fair competition, and final provisions. It notes the defence of freedom of information, the importance of presenting information objectively and impartially, the need for independence and transparency, and the promotion of fair competition. The Code also highlights the responsibility of journalists to verify facts, respect confidentiality, and avoid conflicts of interest.
