Abstract

Ringier’s “Code of Conduct” states the framework within which employees of the Ringier Group act, by defining their values and binding rules of behavior. The code presents the leadership and management principles. It seeks to promote equality, prevent discrimination, provide employees with a healthy and safe work environment and protect the environment. It also aims to protect personal data and confidential information, avoid conflicts of interest as well as bribery and corruption as well as to promote journalistic integrity. Finally, it states that sanctions may be imposed upon breaking the code and how to report violations.
