Abstract

The Code of Conduct in Children and Young People’s Programmes by the Slovenian public broadcaster (RTV Slovenia) underlines the need to preserve the integrity of children and young people and to take into account the stage of their development. The programmes will be suitable for the target audiences; inspire them, build their self-esteem and help them gain positive experiences; present a variety of contents in all areas and genres; encourage to ask questions; strengthen the values of the national culture; promote healthy relationship to nature; and present ethical values and credible interpersonal relationships.
