The “Code of Conduct in Children and Young People’s Programmes” by the Slovenian public broadcaster (RTV Slovenia) underlines the need to preserve children and young people’s integrity and to take into account the stage of their development. The programmes shall be suitable for the target audiences; inspire them, build their self-esteem and help them gain positive experiences; present a variety of contents in all areas and genres; encourage to ask questions; strengthen the values of the national culture; promote healthy relationship to nature; and present ethical values and credible interpersonal relationships.
