Abstract

The “Code of Ethics for a Social Worker” is developed by the Estonian Association and applies to the social workers (managers of welfare institutions, social workers, care workers, etc.). It describes a special section on ethical communication in social media and responsible use of digital technologies. In addition, the code points out the need to be open to cooperation with the media, keeping in mind the principle of confidentiality.
