Pursuant to the Public Servants Act, the “Code of Ethics for Civil Servants in State Bodies and Local Communities” was adopted by the Council of Officials of the Republic of Slovenia. Civil servants shall act in compliance with the law; in a transparent and socially responsible manner; for the good of Slovenia; with honesty and high standards of integrity; efficiently; professionally and impartially; continually developing their competences; in a sincere and reliable manner; upholding conduct in compliance with this code. Their relations shall be based on respect and personal integrity.
