Abstract

The “Deontological Charter for Le Temps’s Blogs” has been issued by the daily Le Temps. It sets out rules for bloggers publishing in the platform. Such rules encompass the respect the editorial line of the blog, avoid plagiarism, respect user comments except when contrary to the law, correct incorrect information, avoid using images or content without rights, refuse any advantage or promise that could limit bloggers’ independence, cite sources, publish regularly, take responsibility for published content, respond to requests regarding citation of sources or compliance with the law and promote discussion by taking part in the comments.
