Abstract

The “Editorial Guidelines” (“Direttive editoriali”) published by the RSI (public service media boradcasting in Italian-speaking Switzerland) is a paper defining the framework (ethical principles, practical rules and quality standards) with regard to RSI’s work and concern all employees of RSI. The paper describes the RSI mandates, its editorial offer, its operating principles as well as the statute of collaborators (including topics such as their political and economic independence, participation in political activities, or in advertising and sponsoring, the use of social media, the relation with the audience, etc.).
