For a long time, the Wiener Zeitung (now: WZ) was the oldest print daily newspaper in the world. However, since 2023 it has only been published online with a smaller editorial team as a digital compass that examines socially relevant topics in depth and prepares them in line with the claim of constructive journalism – both on its website wz.at and on social media.
