The “Code of Ethics of the Public Relations Society of Slovenia” emphasizes the responsible conduct of public relations as the essential component of an open society and democracy. Members shall act in good faith and with integrity, taking into account that freedom of exercising public relations is intrinsically linked to the dignity of the individual. The PR practitioners are accountable to their own conscience, the clients/employers, the society as a whole, and the professional colleagues.
