Abstract

KIBIC Magazin as a small-size editorial office recognises and defends media freedom. The editorial office declares that the most important function of the media is to inform, to present information necessary for voter, consumer, parental and other decisions, to promote freedom of expression and the flow of diverse opinions, to entertain, and through all these means to enhance society’s self-awareness. To fulfil all these tasks, journalists must have the freedom to do their work without political or economic influence, fear or bias. They have a duty to report accurately, fairly and truthfully to the best of their professional judgement.
