Abstract

”Quality in the Media. Handbook” (Qualität in den Medien. Manuel / La qualité dans les médias. Manuel) published by TX-Gruppe (Tamedia) / Groupe TX (Tamedia) / TX Group (Tamedia) is a handbook for the regular quality monitoring of all the Group’s media. The fundamentals  of the quality monitoring are described in four four key sections: compliance journalistic standards, the enhancement of journalistic value, feedback mechanisms from readers, stakeholders, and experts, and finally, the internal organisation and the anchoring of the quality process in the newsroom. The framework aims to uphold high journalistic integrity and meet high standards of quality and relevance, as well as to encourage improvement through constructive feedback and internal accountability.
