Abstract

The “Publishing Guidelines” (“Publizistische Leitlinien / Lignes directrices en matière de publication”) of TeleBielingen/TeleBielingue are a code of conduct that apply to all employees who are directly involved in the production of programme content.  The guidelines  define technical rules that help to ensure the journalistic quality standard of TeleBielingue, as well as compliance with media law and media ethics. Principles (such as bilingual content, fairness, impartiality, source verification, diversity) are also presented in the document. The document also addresses aspects such as coverage of sensitive topics, legal considerations for filming on different locations, and management of complaints.
