Abstract

The “Code of Journalists of Žurnal24” applies to journalists of the news website Žurnal24.si, published by the Styria Media Group. They shall strive for the respect of human rights; freedom of speech and press; democracy; market economy; personal and social development. They shall inform the public and comment on important events and trends based on the standards of independence, criticism and honesty. They shall be particularly vigilant against violations of the rights and dignity of the most vulnerable individuals and groups in society. The final part of the code contains rules about financial reporting.
