Representative of DIACOMET partner Hungarian Europe Society István Hegedűs participated at this year’s annual conference of the Austrian Political Science Association. The conference took place between November 28th and 29th 2024 at the Central European University in Vienna, Austria.

Our representative took part in Panel E-4, dedicated to Pushing Back Against the Enemies of Democracy, which was part of Panel Session V, taking place on Friday, November 29th, between 17:00 and 18:30.

The title of his presentation was Strongman and Illiberalism – Pushing Back Against the Enemies of Liberal Democracy in Hungary and he presented DIACOMET activities in this regard as well.
