ReMeD Conference on “Regulation and Accountability in a Hybrid Media System: Content Creators, Algorithmic Plurality, and Online Platforms”

DIACOMET was represented by our partner Erik Uszkiewicz (Hungarian Europe Society) at the ReMeD conference, organized by our sister project Resilient Media for Democracy in the Digital Age in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference took place between February 10th and 11th 2025 at the Faculty of Social Sciences (Charles University).

Our representative took part in the panel 1 on “Struggles and Conditions of Possibility of Democratic Media”, chaired by Vito Laterza (University of Agder). He presented a collective effort with our Austrian partners titled “Beacons in unknown territory? How codes of ethics can (and cannot) safeguard free and responsible media” (authors: Erik Uszkiewicz, Hungarian Europe Society; Tobias Eberwein, Marie Rathmann & Krisztina Rozgonyi, Austrian Academy of Sciences).
