Our partners from the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) organised an event entitled “Truth Under Attack: Press Freedom Today” on 4th of May 2026.

The event, marking the World Press Freedom Day, featured the screening of four short films followed by a discussion on the state of press freedom in Switzerland and globally.

The event was organised by our DIACOMET partner in collaboration with Swiss partners: Amnesty International, Associazione Ticinese dei Giornalisti, Corso di Giornalismo della Svizzera italiana, Fondazione Diritti Umani, Reporter senza Frontiere Svizzera, Syndicom, and in partnership with the Festival DIG – Documentaries, Investigations, Journalism (Modena, Italy).
