The DIACOMET project has developed and tested Dialogue Lab, an interactive dilemma game designed to support ethical communication and encourage reflection on communication practices. Available both online and as a board game, it can be used in educational, professional, and workshop settings.
Through scenario-based dilemmas, players are invited to consider multiple perspectives, reflect on their choices, and explore different ethical approaches to communication. Archetype-based avatars further enrich the experience by offering feedback on decision-making patterns.
Developed through a collaborative international process, the game was tested with students, teachers, journalists, communication professionals, and civil society actors. Feedback shows that both versions of the game are engaging, enjoyable, and relevant to users’ professional and educational contexts.
Dialogue Lab has already been presented at national and international workshops, conferences, and academic events, with further dissemination planned. Overall, it offers an innovative new tool for fostering ethical reflection and decision-making in diverse communication environments.
